Alrighty, I'm going to try to start updating this on a regular or semi-regular basis again. We shall see how that goes. :) Two awesome Bendis books came out this week! House of M #3 and Ultimate Spider-man #79 hit shelves yesterday (day late due to the 4th of July). Up next week: New Avengers #7! Bendis goes head to head with writer Mark Millar's Ultimate Fantastic Four #21. There's a pretty hefty bet riding on the sales of these two titles...will we have another bald creator come Wizard World Chicago? We shall soon know!

Been a few weeks huh? Well, the site is still here! I've just found myself immersed in my writing as of late. My first comic will be in March, so that coupled with some of the other short stories I've got in the works have kept me shuffling priorities. This site, while I love it dearly has been moved down on the list, for now. What I am going to try to do to get through the busiest couple months for me (being February and March) and update at least once a month if possible during that time. Regular updates will resume though in time. Thank you for stopping by! I promise you, Bendis: Total Sell Out is not gone.
12/14/04:
Ultimate Spider-man #70 swings into comic book shops tommorrow, as well as Daredevil #68, New Avengers #1 Director's Cut, and the Powers Forever tpb. All in all, a nice Bendis book week. Of note, Brent Anderson, current artist on The Pulse, will be leaving the book after issue #7. Artist Michael Lark will be taking over drawing duties on the book starting with issue #8 (all this straight from the man himself). Head on over to the Bendis Board for more on Jessica Jones and The Pulse.
12/07/04:
The caped mayhem continues this week, with the release of Powers #7! The issue begins a new arc on the award-winning series. Happy Hanukkah to Bendis and his family, as well as everyone else who celebrates the holiday!
12/01/04:
The new team assembles today! That's right, New Avengers #1 makes its way onto comic shop shelves. There are two covers, one by regular series artist David Finch, and a variant by Steven McNiven featuring everyone's favorite webcrawler. Coming next week: Powers gets back on schedule with issue #7!
11/26/04:
First off, congrats to Brian for being chosen as Wizard magazine's Man of the Year! An honor that is very well-deserved. This is for all you picture mongers out there. Three pics from Bendis' February appearance at Settle's Comic Book Ink (pics courtesy of CBI): Bendis and some sort of Powers wine? Hmmm... I nominate this one for geekiest pic of da man ever :) And, Brian poses with a family.
11/24/04:
Please put your tray tables back to their upright positions, and fasten your seatbelts folks...Powers #6 flies onto shelves today! The issue is of course, a must-have. :) As if the Powers goodness wasn't enough for you, Daredevil #67 also makes its way onto shelves today. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!
11/17/04:
Jessica Jones is back in action! The Pulse #6, now featuring artist Brent Anderson arrives in shops today. Also today, Ultimate Spider-man #69. A couple other items of possible interest; you can check out a short video interview with Bendis about Avengers on Ugo.com. Also, head on over to jinxworld for a sneak peak at the cover for the upcoming, What if Jessica Jones Had Joined the Avengers!
11/10/04:
The end is here! Well, for the Avengers it is. Avengers Finale lands into shops today. The book is another double-packed issue, a la Avengers #503 . Also coming out today, The Pulse Vol. 1 trade, and the Ultimate Spider-man Vol. 5 hardback. Also of note, The Pulse #6 and Powers #6 have been delayed. The latter is due to a production glitch. Not to worry though, Brian and Mike are currently working on issues #10 and #11, so the series shouldn't have any serious scheduling woes.
11/03/04:
Double your Bendis pleasure today (in more ways that one)! Ultimate Spider-man #68 and the double-issue goodness of Avengers #503 hit shelves today. Oh, and if you haven't stopped by Jinxworld lately, head on over...Brian's got the wheels a turning again. :)
10/27/04:
Everyone's favorite fearless superhero makes his way into comic shops today. Daredevil #66 begins a special "golden era" arc on the book. Also, we have a couple pics from this past weekend's comic event at Atomic Comics (courtesy of "Fish"). Check them out here and here. Don't forget, Avengers #503 is coming next week! Double issue!
